"Scroll Programs" should show a single column with chevrons available as
needed at the top or bottom to get through the portions of the list that
are not visible. Some people have complained about missing chevrons when
using a low resolution for their desktop/monitors. Increasing resolution
makes them appear again but it will also cause all desktop elements to
appear smaller.
"Personalized menu" is only available if using the Classic interface. It
will shorten lists so that they show only programs that you use (have
actually clicked on) in the Start Menu. It takes a while for this to
"collapse" to the short list. And whenever needed, one can click to get the
entire list displayed.
