Hi All

Hoping someone can help.

I'm running Outlook 2003 on WinXPPro.
I have a lab environment that I want users to be able to send Remote
Assistance via email. However Remote Assistance calls up the prompt saying
'A program is trying to ...(etc)

Is there a way that I can set a trust for Remote Assistance (the one
included with XPPro) to stop these prompts from popping up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Kind regards
Troy

Do you use exchange server? If not, no.

No, there's no trust mechanism for external programs.

Hi Diane

Yes, We use Exchange, I think its v5.5 at the moment but in the throws of
being upgraded to 2003.

If you use Exchange, any version, the Admin can configure it to avoid those
prompts, assuming he wants to. :) See
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup.htm for more info. It's
configurable, so only those who need and can be trusted with lower security
can be given it.
