Program installation restriction

I'd like to prevent programs from being installed for one
of my clients. There is no need for programs to be
installed. When they are installed it causes problems
that they have to pay me to fix. Is there a way to lock
the computers configuration so that it can be used, but
not expanded upon.

active directory and group policy objects...

which means more money for you, beacuse you have to learn about it and
install it... and support it...

isnt being a consultant great ????
