Program Icon to desktop

New dumb reader requesting application to put Program Icon on desktop.
Anyone want to help an old lady?

Hey old maid try this, right click on the program you want to move to the
desktop, then left click on send to, select "desktop as shortcut" by left
clicking again and you're done.
