I have 30 client Windows XP Pro computers. 1 Windows 2000 File Server. The
problem is from any client using Power Point and the original file is on the
2000 server. The power point program is on the client machines. When trying
to insert a graphic file into a slide. When accessing the graphic that is
located on the 2000 file server through Power Point the program freezes and
shows not responding. This problem has just popped up in march this year,
and up to then we had no problem using the Power Point program this way. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are the XP boxes set to auto update or have you applied all recommended updates
from MS? If so, one of the updates may be the culprit.
