Program file will not delete

For some reason I have a Windows NT folder in my program files and I can't
get rid of it. It contains two sub-folders, accessories and pinball. When I
try to install a new program now it says that the program is not compatible.
My operating system is XP pro. I checked my environmental variables and it
said ; OS Windows NT. PLEASE help me to correct this :)
 
If you're running WindowsXP Home or Pro the OS is Windows_NT
Accessories and pinball are placed there by default.
Use Programs Compatibility Wizard to check your new program.
Start/All Programs/Accesssories/Programs Compatibility Wizard,
you can use back to Windows 95
