Prog to convert audio CD to MP3?

Looking for a program to convert audio CD tracks to MP3. Is there
such a thing?

New to this so looking for something easy and simple to use.

What you want to do is called "extracting" or "ripping". More
properly, ripping *and* encoding to MP3 as ripping is to wave. CDex
from http://www.cdex.n3.net would be a good choice for you I think.

EAC is excellent but not simple and not something I would recommend to
someone just beginning. You would benefit from my dandies too (see
below).
