I had to upgrade from home to professional edition of
Windows XP and noticed that some favorite features for
working with photos appear to be disabled in the
professional edition. For example, when I right-click on
a photo file the "rotate" commands are no longer
present. Also when I send photos via e-mail it no longer
asks whether I want it to downsample the image for faster
transmission.

Is this expected behavior or is something broken? Any
way to restore these features?

Thanks

Try this:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

That worked, thanks! Strange that microsoft support
doesn't seem to have an article on this ...
