product key does not work

I recently re-formatted my hard drive and had to re-load Microsoft Office
2000 Professional from the original disk. The product key is printed on the
disk. Every program on the 2 disk works properly with the exception of Word.
When word is opened it ask for the 25 digit product key again. When I type
the key that is printed on both disks it says that it is not correct. What
can I do?
