i bought a new copy of windows xp and installed and
activated it, now as soon as i startup it asks me to
activate windows and when i say ok, it tells me its
already activated and takes me back to the startup
screen, and this continues in a loop, whats the problem??

Try re-registering the activation .DLL files
Use Start- Run and enter the following text in the dialog box:
regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll

Then do it again with the following text:
regsvr32.exe licdll.dll

It's a test the security system gives to the user.
Making sure it knows who you are

Hi,
If I understand the problem Adam has is he is unable to
access the O.S it is in a loop bringing him back to the
startup-screen. I have the same problem after I logon to
my rescued O.S. from the sp2 I am asked if I want to
actvate imediately after logoning on! yes as admin,
and when I answer yes i am kicked right back to the logon
screen. Any body have some help. David
