Usually shown near bottom of window if your right-click My Computer and
select Properties. I believe the text is drawn from one of the following
registry keys (assuming an Intel processor, in the second example):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor\0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\ACPI\GenuineIntel_-_x86_Family_15_Model_2\_0

1) Start > Run > MSinfo32.exe.

or

2) Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information

or

3) Start > Run > DXDiag.exe.

or

4) Right-click My Computer > Manage > Device Manager.

or

5) If none of the built-in tools provide the information you want, you
can use these utilities to help determine the answer to your question:

6) Look in the manual/documentation that came with the computer.
