process go crazy using CPU & enlarged fonts cant controll

HI all:

I am facing a problem for months now. Here are the problems:
1. I cant get background on web pages and help and support of Win XP
Professional But all web pages are cool with netscape.
2. Sometimes the font on explorer and windows help window go crazy extra
extra large like 4 character per screen size i cant controll them thru the
view -> text size also. same size still opens ok in netscape.
3. Hard disk keeps busy even when their are no applications running when i
check the task manager a lot of applications keep jumping places and have
very high CPU usage 100% most of the time.
4. have problem downloading updates and stuff.

I have the same problem and my scroll bar go crazy when I try to view
pictures. I reload windows and did a virus scan with a few programmes as
well as spyware scan
