Internet font size

I am having problems keeping my Internet font size the same. I use Yahoo.ca
as my home page and since they have changed their 'look' I cannot keep the
font size the same, it was not a problem before. I go to View>Text Size and
select 'Smaller'. When I go back in the next time it has changed from Smaller
back to Medium (which I assume is the default).

Is this an issue with the Yahoo web page or is there a way to keep it at the
view I want?

Thank you.

I just visited http://ca.yahoo.com/

My Text size stayed Medium where I normally keep it in IE.

You may doing it yourself by accident.

Normally the mouse wheel does the same thing as the Page Up and Page Down
keys. In Internet Explorer and Outlook Express Ctrl + mouse wheel zooms the
Text Size. The same as View | Text Size | Pick a size. Each notch on the
wheel changes to the next Text Size.

I do that by accident all the time. In fact I discovered this by accident
and can't find any documentation on it.

On some mice the wheel acts as a third button. Click the wheel, hold it
down and you can drag the displayed page up and down and depending on the
application, left and right.

In MS Office apps Ctrl + mouse wheel changes the percentage of Zoom. It
zooms in and zooms out.

In AutoCAD the wheel zooms without using the Ctrl key. I use the wheel
button and the mouse wheel to navigate around drawings in AutoCAD all the
time.

If IE-View-Text Size does not stick....

---solution 1
If you are using Eudora 4.2 or greater then use Tools-Options-Viewing
Mail and uncheck "Use Microsoft's viewer"
It is Eudora that is setting the IE text size and unchecking that
option will stop it.

The key that Eudora 4.x will change is this:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\International\Scripts\3]
"IEFontSize"=hex:02,00,00,00

---solution 2
In Outlook 2000 or greater go to Tools/Options/Mail
Format/Fonts/International Fonts, and for each font
change the "Font Size" entry to your desired size.

Thanks for the suggestion but I tried all the buttons on the mouse and it did
not change the font size. It only happens after I get out and then go back on
the Internet. It does not happen every time but eventually it goes back to
Medium. I am trying what Alan Edwards suggested.
