Procedure Entry Point / Dynamic Link Library

Recently I loaded a small investment package on my laptop.
It is a P3 operating Windows 2000.
I receive the following error message when trying to
access one of my programs.

A dialog box titled -
Solidworks.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The Procedure Entry Point _lc_collate_cp could not be
located in the dynamic link library MSVCRT.dll

A similar error message appears for other programs but
with a different name for the Procedure Entry Point file.

I have NO problems using Word, Excel etc.
Can you please help me solve this problem.
I have uninstalled, then reloaded the software but the
same error occurs.

Hi Michelle,

First I would try searching the Solidworks website and/or newsgroup for information
about MSVCTR.DLL errors with this particular product. You may also want to contact
the Solidworks Support department.

Then, if you don't find a solution, see the following web page, section "About DLL
