Probs connecting Win2k WK to Win2k3 Server

James

I have a small lan with the server using Windows 2003
Standard Server. I have added machine after machine with
no problems for the last few months now and I am in the
process of replacing the older machines. When I am trying
to connect it to the DC I am getting an error I have never
gotten before. The error message I am getting can be seen
here:

A.asp

I am not sure what to do about this problem because I have
not seen it before. Any and all assistance is helpful.

Did you try what the article recommended?? Generally this means that the
machine you are haveing a problem with is not configured with the AD domain
controller as their preferred dns server in their tcp/ip properties as shown
with ipconfig /all. Also NEVER have an ISP dns server configured as a dns
server on a domain machine. Using dcdiag on domain controllers and netdiag
on member computers can help troubleshoot these problems by looking for
failed tests that may point you in the right direction. Also look in Event
Viewer or any clues. These tools are on the install cdrom in the
support/tools folder where you have to run the setup there. --- Steve
