Problems with x600

Anyone have any issues with these video cards? I bought a new 64Bit system a
few months ago, and it came with this card. When using any 3D program, the
card's VPU seems to fail constantly. Anyone know how to rectify this? At the
moment, I'm using the latest Catalyst Drivers. Specs As Follows:

-AMD Athlon 64 3400+ w/ HT
-2048MB RAM
-ATI Xpress 200 IXP400 Motherboard w/ On Board 128MB GFX.

Everything else is pretty much standard.

Thanks if anyone can help.

What program are you running that causes this? I had a similar
problem with Half-Life 2 on an X600 Pro PCIE when I upgraded to the
latest Catalyst drivers. Probably 5.10 or 5.11 since this was in
November. Half-Life would freeze, then I assume the board would
reboot, and I'd be able to play again for 10-30 seconds before it
froze again. I had to downgrade to the drivers on the disk to play
(don't remember what version this was). Unfortunately, that destroyed
the ability to watch TV.

I've decided my next card will not be ATI. I've only had this one for
3 months and it's become a constant search for workarounds to get it
to function properly.
