problems with windows prof. 2000

hello

when we start the computer before it finishes starting
windows it will shut the whole computer down then it takes
several times of it doing that before we can get windows
to start. I haVE RAN THE VIROUS scan and all the maintence
options but it still does it. Can anyone please help?

What does this have to do with Active Directory?

I would suggest that you post this to a more appropriate news group, such as
the WIN2000.General or WIN2000.Hardware news groups.
