Problems with Windows Installer

I have MS Streets & Trips installed. When I used to bring it up, it
would come up normally. Now, when I try to bring it up, I get Windows
Installer messages.

I'm not trying to do anything extraordinary...just start the program
normally. But Windows Installer keeps asking me to insert the disk. I
cancel out the process...it starts itself again a few times, then goes
away.

How can I make it go away altogether?

put in the CD and it will do whatever it thinks it needs to do and it
shouldn't happen again.
