problems with windows firewall and going to web pages

having trouble accessing windows live messenger i keep getting error messages
80048820 and extended message 80048412 .When i try to switch on the windows
firewall it wont let me i also down loaded c a secruity centre anti virus

I am having the same problem! and i have done EVERYTHING suggested but
nothing works. this problem started about 2 weeks ago when i did a WINDOWS
update !!!
can someone please help !!
