problems with webpage

This is the second time I have posted this. The first one has not appeared
and I have left and come back several times

I have 2 problems. Is it me or MS

1. When I sign into newsgroup, and hit enter, I get a page that says the
page I want cannot be found. If I go to favorites and select newsgroups, I
am automatically signed in

2. I have problems posting. When I post, I get an error message that
says: an error occurred while sending your post. Usually, if I leave the
group and come back the post is there. But like above, just now the post did
not appear.

Sorry, posts to newsgroup do not appear very quickly.

Your problems are likely to be caused by your using the web based interface.
Instead, you should be using OE.

That's as good as it gets when using a web interface instead of a newsreader
(Outlook Express, for example).

With OE, your post is propagated to the thousands of news servers in
seconds.

With web-based access, your post is at the mercy of the next "crawl" of the
server.

Thanks. I will take your suggestion. But I have a simple question. I have
been a MS user since early DOS and will probably never leave. I am not a
geek, but I have used the systems regulary and know the differnce between the
engine and tailpipe.

Seeing how 'cool' the apple iphone is, I sometimes dream that maybe an Apple
computer would be that easy also. Is this really a daydream, or is there
something there?

Mac OS X is very intuitive but there is no perfect hardware and no perfect
software. Visit a friend who has a Mac and play with it or go to an Apple
Store and test drive one. No one can answer whether OS X would work for you
except you.
