Problems with Web browser opening sites that need plug ins?

I've just recently installed firefox and since I installed firefox niether
I.E or Firefox will open sites which need plug ins like online radio? I've
tried resetting I.E to its default state and still nothing. It says at the
top of my browser window I.E is running with add ons disabled? How do i
reverse I.E to its previous state of automatically running active x plug ins
and loading up sites with flash automatically or promting me when needed? Any
help most welcome

Uninstall your current version of Google Toolbar and reboot.

If you reset IE, you disabled the add-ons. Go to Tools->Manage Add-ons then
re-enable the correct ones...
