Problems with video conference XP to Win 2000

Hicks

I'm trying to get a video conference working between a W2k
Professional system and an XP system.
The problem is that the remote system (XP) can recieve my video, but I
can't receive his.
My machine (W2k) is behind a router with a firewall, BUT I've enabled
DMZ for my IP address so all firewall filtering is bypassed.

Interestingly we had the same problem before I installed the router.
I'm wondering if the XP version of messenger is compatible with the
W2k version?
Both machines are running messenger 6.1

Anyone else had any sucess with this particular setup?

Thanks.
Andrew.

Hey Andrew,

Try to clear the QoS Packet Scheduler check box in Win
XP.
a. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
b. Click Network and Internet connections, and then click
Network Connections.
c. Right-click the icon for the network or Internet
connection, and then click Properties.
d. Clear the QoS Packet Scheduler check box, and then
restart the computer.

Regards
