Problems with the reading pane in Outlook 2007

When I open an email the to, from, and subject lines are visable but the
reading pane is blank. This is also true with auto preview. the preview is
blank. I have installed a new updated version of outlook but still have the
problem.

I am having a simialr problem, but when I double click the message text is
visible. Often I will have a problem opening an attachment whent he preview
is not showing up.
