Problems with the Logon or welcome screen

My kid was on a website he says and he right clicked on
an image and requested that it become his backround
screen, ever since when I log in or out or switch between
users I see that image flash for about a second. Then It
goes to my background screen We all have our own user
names and accounts and they are all with administrative
abuility because he could not run games requiring disk
acess. Just today I discovered that at the login screen
if I hit CTRL ALT Del I go to the login box and bypass
the login screen the same effect as if I disable the log
in screen from user accounts. the funny thing is, when
the loging box or window is showing, this picture is
there all the time. If anyone can help me get rid of this
annoying problem I would appreciate it.

Right click the Desktop/Properties/Desktop/Customize Desktop/Web and uncheck
it if listed.

If this is not the case, go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to either keys
and check the values:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop or:
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop

Allow Wallpaper/Background Changes (Line 142)

Some of those Screen Savers are spyware/virues/Trojan

ow, don't get on him, You can be easily fooled. I was, I am an
adult.

Try the following programs to get rid of it. (You can ignore the dso
exploit from spybot)

First back up the *.scr he likes.
Try uninstalling some those adware/spy ware programs from the
add/remove box.

Now Run adware & spybot Search & Destroy

Thank you kelly, I tried the Tip using regedit and it told me where the
picture was located. InsideC:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Application
Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp funny how
that dir doesnt even show up on explorer anyway I deleted the file and i do
not have thge problem anymore even though I left the reg key the same

As for the that path, it is hidden by default. To view, modify your
settings via Tools/Folder Options/View.
