problems with text typing on sites possibly cookies??

running XP Home

I run ad-aware anti-virus everyday

When i check mail on my yahoo name, it wont let me compose. I can type in
the "to" box and the Subject line, but not the body of the letter. Also,
when logging in on eBay, it says "If you are seeing this page, your browser
settings prevent you from automatically redirecting to a new URL." Any help
on adjusting my settings or anything will help.

IE, tools menu, options, security tab, highlight internet zone, "Custom
