Problems with speed of playing sound files

E

eger

Hi,
Whenever I play a sound file that I download from the
internet, no matter which device I use to play the file
(eg:Windows Media Player or RealOne), it plays the sound
file too fast (ie: it sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks
singing ! - very highpitched, and too fast)\
How do I slow down the playing? Is my processor too fast
or something? Help......

Thank you !

Nah, this should be a result of your sound card's timer being off.

should help. :)
