Problems With Screen

Help! While doing some work tonight some how the task bar
at the bottom of my screen has turned black. I restarted
my computer several times and have had no luck in
accessing anything from the bottom task bar. You do see
it when the computer restarts. However, when I move the
pointer down to the bottom of the screen the pointer turns
into a vertical line with an arrow at each end. This will
not allow me to click on anything. Also, four of my
shortcuts on the bottom task bar disappeared?

Right click on your task bar and check it's properties. One of the settings
from the right click menu may solve your problem. If that doesn't work, try
Control Panel>Display>Appearance and try shifting to a whole different color
scheme.
