Problems with printer sharing on a wireless network.

Prior to the massive Microsoft updates this week, I was successfully using a
Media Center PC as a print server on my home wireless network. I have a
Canon S750 printer attached to the MC PC. I also have a XP home laptop which
is wirelessly connected to my Linksys router.

I exclusively was able to print from my XP laptop to the Canon printer and
now I am unable to do so. This occurred after the recent Microsoft updates
to my XP HOme laptop.

Help Please!!!!!!!!!

One post is enough!

My network got all the latest updates and I certainly haven't gotten any
recent printing problems. Did you try to uninstall and reinstall the
printer? Does it print successfully from the PC to which it is attached?
Can the notebook still see the MCE PC?

I did not purposely post this three times, due to supposed errors when I
clicked on post, they got posted anyhow.

The answer to all three of your questions is Yes, Yes, and Yes.

I have uninstalled reinstalled printers from both machines several times.
The printer is working with the media center PC to which it is attached. I
can see Media Center PC from my laptop in network neighborhood. For the life
of me I cannot figure out how to get the printer shared across my network now.

If this posts 2 times it is cause I received an error message when I
attempted to post it the first time.

The printer name is Canon S750 prefaced with the name of the PC it is
connected to. I think it is \\your-9k1ay6x2a2.

NO SPACES ALLOWED! Use an Underscore or keep it as one single word, ie
CanonS750..

Ok, Here is what I have done since your last response:
-Uninstalled the printer attached to the other PC on my network that I have
been able to print to over my network for over a year.
-Uninstalled that printer on my laptop which is connected wirelessly to my
router.
-Reinstalled the printer on my PC which connects to the desired printer. I
made sure that there were no spaces in the printer name. ie. CanonS750.
-Attempted to install this printer on my laptop as a network printer, I can
see the printer when I browse in the printer setup. I set it as my default
printer.
-WHEN I ATTEMPT TO PRINT TO THAT PRINTER FROM MY LAPTOP, I IMMEDIATELY GET
AN ERROR INDICATING THAT I CANNOT PRINT!!!!!

Now what? Should I contact Microsoft and pay for technical support?
