Problems with Page Setup in Word 2002 (XP)

I have performed a complete install of Office XP on a computer. Everytime I
enter Page Setup when I am in Microsoft Word, I get the error box saying that
Word has encountered problems and needs to shut down. When asked if I would
like to notify Microsoft, I select the yes option. I am an instructor and an
editor and I really need to use the Page Setup Option. What could be the
problem?

This usually indicates a problem with the printer. If you don't have a
printer driver installed locally, install one. If you do have a printer
installed, delete it and reinstall, or try selecting a different printer or
driver.

The Page Setup function reads information from the printer driver -- page
size, minimum margins, trays, etc. Your problem is most likely a corruption
with the printer driver data, and most likely will go away if you uninstall
and re-install your printer. Failing that, check back with your printer
manufacturer (is it a very old printer on a very new computer?) to make sure
you have the latest driver.
