Problems with new site

Hi,

We have recently created a new DC at a remote office. Site and subnet
settings appear correct.

However, any new PC's built in our head office and joined to the domain
appear in the remote offices copy of AD first? If the Admin Tools are
installed on the new PC's in the head office then they will
automatically connect to the DC in the remote site.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Scott

Provide more details about ip addressing in local and remote office, and
about subnet and site settings in AD.

I would suggest that you check and double-check that the Sites and Subnets
are set up correctly and that the Domain Controllers in each Site have to
correct IP Address. Also, that your DHCP Servers are providing the correct
information.

Also, it might be good to provide us the information, as Dmitry suggested.
There might be something there that an additional set of eyes can see. You
might be too close to it to see it! Has happened to me several times!
