Problems with networking LAN

I have 2 computers running XP Home. They are connected to an EDIMAX BR-6104K
router. The router connects to my ADSL modem. I can connect to the internet
from both computers, but the computers cannot talk to each other (not ping,
nor shares, they don't appear in the workgroup, etc)... Each computer can
ping itself and the router. The router is set up as a DHCP server. I tried
using static IP but it didn't help. What am I doing wrong... I do have SP2
and the Windows Firewall is enabled (with exceptions for File and Printer
Sharing which were added via the network setup wizard) PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks. It wasn't the windows firewall that was the problem, but the VPN
client I had installed to be able to connect to work. I unistalled the VPN
client software and can now see the Home Network. Problem is I can't connect
to work... Any ideas?

Contact the IT Dept. at your work and ask them how to set the VPN client
they use to work with your home network.
