Problems with my home network.

Hello everybody:

K, this is my problem:

I set a network in my home today. This is more or less the
map of my network.

Internet enters from the street to a modem (don?t really
know if I have a cable, or a LAN, or any of those
connections, but it isn?t important).

From the modem to a computer that is the server of my
house.

From the server to the rest of the three computers.

So I have a computer that is the server and nobody uses and
is only the one from which all other computers connect to
the internet.

Well, the problem is that computer, because, when I set the
network? I think I have to explain how I set the network.

I went to the network connections folder, and I clicked in
Set up a home or small office network and I followed the
instructions in the wizard.

K, as I was saying, when I set the network, somehow I set a
firewall, and now I can?t transfer files from the other
computers, i.e. with Windows Messenger or WinMX or I don?t
know how many more programs. And I don?t know what else I
can?t do.

My question is, how can I take away this firewall or
whatever it is, I don?t like it, and I don?t want it.

That?s all.

TIA

Antonio R.

Go into the advanced properties of the LAN connection and disable ICF.
