Looking for help with missing .hlp files.

My spy boy search and destroy is reporting them.
nmplace.hlp
snapview.hlp
artgalry.chm
jetdef.chm
jetsql.chm
dao360.chm
msjro.chm are missing

where would i find these?

nmplace.hlp
snapview.hlp
artgalry.chm
jetdef.chm
jetsql.chm
seem to be part of microsoft office. The computer keeps looking for them in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\1033\ folder.

yet they aren't there, And I've done a search on my computer for them, and
they are to be found no where.

as well.
dao360.chm seems to be located via the registry in C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\DA0\
yet its not any where on the computer.
and
msjro.chm
seems to be in C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Ado\
it can't be found at all either.
Where would these be found?

Have you tried the Office repair function or simply reinstalling Office?
The repair option should be available on one of the screens after you place
the Office CD in the drive. If repair doesn't resolve it, then try to
reinstall.

What about the other help files are they part of office or some thing else?
thanks in advance.

For the other's you would need to determine the associated application and
reinstall those. You might be able to determine the associated applications
by running a search on Google for the specified file. Such a search might
identify the application with which it is associated.

That said, are you sure they are missing. Have you gone to your various
applications and actually tried invoking "Help."
