Problems with Microsoft Explorer

Recently my computer has stopped opening anything which has
an Explorer type window (Internet Explorer, My Computer,
Recycle Bin, My Documents etc). When I click on one of
these it says that it has performed an illegal operation.
When I click on details it says this:

EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
module VX2.DLL at 018f:1000ef60.

Can you tell what is wrong with my computer and why it
won't open anything with an explorer type window? At the
moment I'm having to use Netscape to go on the internet but
it is not as convenient as internet explorer plus I have no
way of getting access to "My documents" or "My Computer"
among others. The computer tells me to restart the computer
if the problem persists but even that does not help.

If there is something that can be done to solve this
problem I would be very grateful if you could tell me.

Thank you.

Explorer is corrupted and youll have to reinstall windows.
Just do a reinstall over what you have or you can do a
system restore and restore it before that happened

You have a parasite on the system, vx2.dll is not a Windows file. Please
see:
