Problems with Loading Profile

I have roaming profiles and mandatory roaming profiles. I
am able to log onto the domain with the regular roaming
profile, but when i log on with a mandatory roaming
profile, it takes over 10 minutes for the profile to load
on the workstation. I just started having this problem
today. Would anyone know what could be the problem and how
i can fix it?

Also does anyone know how to keep the workstation from
saving a profile folder under C:\Documents and Settings
when the user logs off?

One I would look at the userenv.log and second enable the group policy to
delete cached profiles.
