Problems with Linksys BEFSR41 Router

I got my 2 machines to see each other (XP Home, WinME). I got the
router to connect to the internet, but it loses the connection every
15 minutes or so. I have to keep resetting. I can't send it back
because I bought it a few months but didn't do anythning with it.

Anybody have any ideas?

By the way, I have a cable modem (Toshiba PCX1100U if that matters.)

There are many (*many*) firmware releases available from Cisco/Linksys for the
BEFSRx1 router family. You should probably vector through

http://www.linksys.com/download/firmware.asp?fwid=183

before you throw it in the circular file...

Hey I have the same problem with my Linksys router(BEFW11S4) Mine kicks out
anywhere to 1 - 3 days. I cant determine a pattern and I am too new at this
to know where to even start. I do know that if I unplug the router for
5-10seconds then all is well until the next time. I have all the firmware
updates and Linksys is of no help. I returned the first router thinking it
was a router problem but I find it hard to believe that two in a row would
have the same problem. I am connected to the internet through a Shaw Cable
modem and I have messed around a little with the settings but still am stuck
