Problems with genuine MS outlook

I recently found out by a message from MS that my office suite was not
genuine so have bought a full copy of outlook and home office. Firstly I
loaded both programs in but still got messages saying my outlook and word
would be marked as non genuine. Secondly I wiped all the office suite and re
loaded again and activated them by the net.
Now I am still getting messages saying that in 7 days my suite will be
marked as non genuine ( not sure what that means). What do I do next please?

What does this mean? Did you receive a phone call? An e-mail message? A
pop-up of some kind? What does Help>About say?

Why not call Microsoft Support? I believe this type of question is free.

It comes up as a pop up on the program when launched and is counting down to
about seven days time. I looked at the MS help website but couldnt find an
email address to write or specific advice re this problem. I will look again.

Unless Microsoft is informing you regarding a lawsuit, they won't be
sending you an e-mail about your products or that you don't have a
genuine copy of their product. So just WHO actually sent you the
e-mail?
that my office suite

And which MS Office suite was that?
was not genuine so have bought a full copy

Bought from who?
of outlook and home office.

Office 2007 Home Edition doesn't include Outlook. Is that the "home
office" product to which you refer? Outlook was included in all
editions of Office 2003.

Did you first uninstall the existing instance of Office before
installing the new version?
Firstly I loaded both programs in but still got messages

Message from WHAT? When you attempted to online validate the products?
saying my outlook and word would be marked as non genuine.

Did you call the phone number provided at the end of the validate
wizard so you could talk to an MS rep?

What is the exact wording of the error message?
Secondly I wiped all the office suite and

You don't "wipe" (delete files or format). You uninstall. Did you do
a wipe or uninstall?
re loaded again and activated them by the net. Now I am still getting

Sounds like you have a trial version of Office installed as part of the
bloatware that computer vendors slap onto their hosts to fatten them up
and make buyers think they are getting that software for free. Did
Office come pre-installed on the pre-built computer that you bought?

The two new programs I have bought are MS Office home and student 2007 and
Outlook 2007. the messages came as pop ups not emails only when I opened the
programs in question. I am not sure which version of office was originally
installed (by the previous owner of the pc) but it included word, outlook and
publisher which were the only ones I ever used.
I didnt wipe the programs as I said but uninstalled them from the program
list.
The pop ups only come up when I open up word or outlook but not every time
and it continues to count down the days. It is not a trial version.
I will write down the message when it comes up again and post if I dont have
any success from MS.

FYI, when purchasing a used computer, it is best to flatten and rebuild
it (i.e., do a fresh install of the OS and applications). You don't how
the prior owner screwed them up and left them that way and what malware
lingers on the host for you to have problems with them. If the OS and
apps were included in the sale of the computer, installation media had
to be included for them (although for Windows, they may only have image
restoration CDs or a hidden partition on the hard disk).
