Office Enterprise 2007 & MS Outlook Connector

I am unable to download MS Outlook Connector to use with my Outlook in MS
Office Enterprise. It keeps telling me that my product has not been activated
during the validation of Genuine Windows, but the application is activated.
Are there any solutions to this?

Do you know if anything has changed with the Outlook connector? I installed
the last one almost a year ago. A few days ago I tried to install it on a new
machine because my old machine’s hard drive crashed. The later one got
released in Nov 2007 whereas the one I installed earlier was released in
early 2007.

It seems to work fine initially for a few hours but after that it keeps on
saying “Could not sign inâ€. Of course, I have checked the password….after a
few hours it may start working again. I have removed and re-installed it to
make sure that nothing was corrupt.

I know it is not a connectivity issue because I can access web sites fine.
Outlook At this point, I am at a loss..it could be any one of the following
factors:

a. The HM server that supports the Outlook connector is not up
b. The Connector has a bug that doesn’t allow it authenticate (I don’t think
this is the case because it does manage to auth after a few hours…it works
fine for a few hours and then stops working).
c. The new connector uses an authentication mechanism that PRC firewalls
don’t like (since I am doing this from home).
d. Outlook has a bug which gets exposed by the Connector.

Outlook without Connector seems to work just fine.

I have Outlook 2007 12.0.6300.5000 SP1 MSO 12.0.6213.1000 + Windows Vista.

Have you heard of anything? I checked the KB articles on Microsoft and there
doesn’t seem to be anything…. Anyone you know in outlook who may know what’s
going on?
