Problems with FrontPage trial version

I have a trial version of FrontPage 2003. I designed a web site for myself a
few months ago with it. I now seem to be having problems. Here's a few:

1. When I try to add additional pics to the photo gallery, it won't let me
and doesn't say why.
2. I originally created the site locally, saved and published to the remote
server. A few weeks ago I noticed I was making changes and they were
automatically saving to the remote server. It looks like I have 2 sites, one
is local and one is remote. How did I do that without knowing?
3. Do my problems stem from the fact that I'm using a trial version?
4. I'm having various other little problems, but being computer illiterate,
I don't know how to fix them.

I'm getting more and more frustrated. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Paula

Has your "trial version" expired?? The trial is for a limited amount of time.

1- you need to Import the new images into the FP web first, then try to add them to the photo gallery. However, the photogallery can be finicky at times and may not let you, especially if you have really large image files. And it's best to be working on the local copy when doing this.

2- Sounds like one of your editing sessions you were working "live" - directly on the server copy (http://www.yourwebsite.xxx )

3- The trial copy does have a time limit...but wouldn't create the above problems - I don' think.

No, it expires April 30th.

Thanks for the help. Yes, I think it's definitely finicky. I'm an artist
and displaying my art, so yes, I do have lots of images, but not really that
large.

fyi, my site is www.dabndoodle.com

I'm going to keep playing with things and see how further I can screw things
up ;-)

Thanks again,
Paula
