From one day we can not do: My NetworkPlaces : View workgroup computers !!

1. I can ping them and they my!
2. Then I write \\[computername] I find it
3. I don't have firewall, have all update

masage error is: "Workgroup is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available"

Get a firewall if you have an Internet connection. It's mandatory. :-)
masage error is: "Workgroup is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of

See if
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;318030&Product=winxp
looks useful.

Note that workgroups don't tend to scale well and yours is much larger than
I'd want to support. More than a handful of workstations makes a workgroup
very difficult to administer.

Have you looked into going client/server? Store all your data centrally,
maintain security/accounts centrally, etc - much easier.
