Problems with DIVX.

I am trying to create a movie in the windows movie maker using an episode
from a series I downloaded. When I tried to play the episode in Windows Media
Player, it wouldn't play correctly and said I needed a codec. It directed me
to the DIVX codec. I downloaded it and it ran fine on the WMP, but now I have
problems with it in the Windows Movie Maker. The clips of the episode I have
in WMM are really choppy, sometimes appear upside down, and have a general
graininess to them. I have created a movie before in the WMM so I know it is
not a problem with the Movie Maker. Can anyone explain to me what I need to
get it to function properly in the Movie Maker?

Sometimes...disabling codecs in
Movie Maker can be the cure.

Open Movie Maker 2.1 and go to...
Tools / Options / Compatibility tab...
