I am have strange behavior from my CD-ROM drive. I have several programs I
can back up to an existing CD-R disk with no problem. Others, when I try to
backup, I get the message that the CD is full. The strange part is that when
I try a new CD-R or CD-RW disk it is not recognized as a writeable device. I
just installed Roxio 8: no change. Does anyone recommend deleting the device
any letting windows detect it again? Other thoughts? I am using a Sony VAIO
desktop with a Sony CD-ROM about three years old. Thanks in advance!

Hi

Best to wipe it out, then power down, switch back on and let Windows
reinstall stuff.
