problems with bold

Ok, documents that had bold are now compressing the sentences into the size
of three characters. This just starting happening recently and wasn't that
way before. Has anyone else had this problem. How do I fix it.
 
Go to Format> Font> Character Spacing tab. What scale is shown there? It
should be 100%.
 
Try re-installing the printer driver.
