I previously had Adobe Reader 5.0. Yesterday I downloaded
the Adobe Reader 6.0 and unistalled Adobe Reader 5.0.

When the process of downloading Adobe Reader
6.0 completed successfully I noticed a
new icon on my desktop for Adobe Reader 6.0. I double
clicked on the icon and got this question: "Adobe PDF
documents on the Web can be viewed inside Netscape and
Internet Explorer. However, this feature is currently
disabled and PDF documents on the Web will open in a
separate window. Would you like to disable this feature
so that you can view PDF documents in Netscape and
Internet Explorer?"

This is where I clicked YES. Now when I try to open PDF
documents, I get a blank screen with a little box at the
top that has multiple colors inside.

What can I do to resolve this problem? I am worse off now
than when I had Adobe Reader 5.0.
Is Adobe Reader 6.0 a better product? As I am trying to
work through this problem I am getting negative comments
about Adobe Reader 6.0. People are saying that 5.0 is
better. Is this true?

You should try Adobe's support site since this is an
Adobe program and not a Microsoft program.
