Adobe 5. & Adobe 6.0 Hate Me!

Hi!

RE: DELL's WIN XP HOME, / IE 6.0+ / all SP's updated

When I come upon an internet file that requires the Adobe Reader, I
click the link but nothing happens. Yet, I have BOTH 5.0 and 6.0 in
C:\Program Files. So, I OPEN 6.0, and leave it on the desktop. Still,
the internet links still don't take me to Adobe Reader.

What am I doing wrong?

suggest you uninstall (both) and reinstall one to re-establish your links

Uninstall both 5 and 6, do a clean up/defrag and download 7. It's MUCH
faster.

Or scrap it altogether and use Foxit instead.

Watchman :)

I think 7 is a vast improvement over the previous versions. It loads
MUCH faster. Have you tried it?
