Problems with adjusting hd space

Hello,

When I delete a file windows does not adjust the free hd space in explorer.
And so all the programs think there is not enough room. But there is because
they will continue download even when the cross the "limit"? Does anyone
recognize this problem and knows how to solve it?

Do you have Norton Protected Recycle Bin? If so, as far as the system
is concerned, files that have been put there have *not* ben deleted. I
think it very doubtful if this program adds anything of value to the
normal bin, for which the space used will be discounted in assessing
free space
