Problems with a messed up dual boot

P

Paul

I had XP and Vista in a dual boot config on 2 separate drives. I cloned my
XP drive (needed a larger drive), removed the old drive, put in the new
drive and had troubles so I obviously mucked up the bootloader and now only
can boot to XP. I've tried EasyBCD and VistaBootPro with no luck.
Exactly what do I have to do and where do I do it to add the info to allow
me a choice to boot into Vista as well as XP?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Rich. I've tried most of what that thread says but will look further
into it. I've already posted on that site too. Pretty good stuff.

Paul, it wouldnt be a big deal to reinstall Vista. Just have your drive
with WinXP connected when you try it. I wonder if you can do a Repair
Install with Vista like you
can with WinXP?

I've tried this already with no luck but I'm thinking it's a hardware
problem now and going thru each connection to make sure.
I appreciate the help from everyone.
