I have my hotmail accnt setup on my outlook at home so its quicker to look at
messages. ONly now seem to be having problems.
When i am sending messages from microsoft outlook to say a hotmail accnt. It
gets sent but all the fonts are displayed plain txt. LIke this forum is, and
theres an attachement called winmail.dat.
Anyone know why hotmail isnt displaying the fonts?
When i send from my work outlook to my hotmail, it displays in the same
format it was sent, in html.
Wen sending from home it doesnt display right but everyone else on hotmail i
send to receives it as it was originally sent.
How come its just when i send from outlook at home and not from my work one?
Ive got it all setup to use html.
If a friend logs onto their hotmail accnt at my house it still displays
fine. It just seems to be my hotmail that isnt the one workign right.
If i view my hotmail emails in outlook, they display in html format and
appear fine. But to summerise, if i send an email from my ntl email account
on outlook at home to my hotmail, or from my hotmail to my hotmail in html
format it doest get displayed in html format, it gets shown in basic txt with
a winmail.dat attachment which i cant open.
Please help as only seems to be my hotmail that is affected.
Ive checked all the settings and they are fine. THis is only when im sending
from my outlook at home to MY hotmail account. If someone else sends to my
hotmail or i send it from my work email account, it displays in hotmail fine
Ive checked both settings IN both outlook and hotmail. Outlook has the html
set to default on every email. This is only happening to my hotmail. If i
send the same email to different ppl everyone else gets it fine but just my
hotmail receives in plain txt with the .dat attacemenet.
Hotmail does display in html format. Just not when i have sent an email from
my home email address such as (e-mail address removed) or
(e-mail address removed) or indeed when sending from my
(e-mail address removed) (e-mail address removed), if i send from outlook at
work it is received on my hotmail and displays as html exactly as a i sent
it. I send to other peoples hotmail and they receive it fine. If i view my
hotmail through outlook they display fine but wen i log onto hotmail.com
through internet explorer it displays different.
