Problems when reenabling my internet firewall

I am trying to re enable my internet firewall but am
running into an error which has not occured in the past.

An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was
being enabled The service cannot accept control message
at this time

Can anyone give me some insight to this error??

i believe you have to turn off internet sharing before you can enable the firewall. let me know if works.

What firewall? Not sure about the built in XP firewall and ICS (since I
don't use it) but Kerio Personal Firewall supports ICS, it's free and
easy to configure, plus it's a two-way firewall and the XP firewall is not.
