Please could anybody help?

When booting up or restarting Windows XP it stops on the "Windows is
starting up" screen for about 5 minutes before it continues to the welcome
screen before it finally loads!

I would be grateful if someone could help its very frustrating it takes XP
ages to load!!

Many thanks

Do it anyway. It's lying. How many fragmented files are there? Over 200?

Thanks but is there a simpler way to solve this problem like a tool I could
download? I dont have the confidence I am not very IT literate.

:

Those tools are straight forward. If you don't feel competent then take
the computer to a reputable repair shop, not a compu usa type store. If
there was a simpler tool I would have suggested it.
